The dark hush and stillness all around, the
damp and foggy silence
of the unknown despair ...quiet and fearful.
Then, beyond the mist, the sound of prancing hooves
Can it be the reality of Dark Terror!
No, for Yea, out of the mist and fog there steps the Truth
on a
shiny steed with her armor sharply bright.
She smiles mysteriously with understanding and sympathy.
Her medals (virtues) flash majestically ...
And you know She IS there! She speaks not
a word, but HER steed shutters with
anxious and steadfast spirit. He moves as though
for all to admire -- oh, slowly now. And then ... ahhh,
Sweet Deeds, you lay a tender challenge.
For Her beauty is tantalizing, and Her
mission bold, Her aura is warmth untold
of ages old. Oh, this vision of glory
How Her strength transcends ...how quiet
with star-spangled sound. Hush ...
Her steed, He stops before the waters edge,
He bows his head to drink.
His rider, She looks down with peaceful tranquility
into the cold and deep, but refreshing spring.
Her reflection is crystal clear, I see it now ...
And I am no longer afraid and unaware
For she, She is Me!
